Worth knowing as a guest
The Courses:
Both of our courses are ranked among the top 50 courses in continental Europe. Both the New Course and Old Course were designed by Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects, who have beautifully integrated the natural beauty and wildlife of our 200-hectare forested area.
Arrival and Check-in:
We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before your tee time so we can check you in, settle payments, give you a welcome gift, and show you the facilities.
Directions:
Address: The Scandinavian, Oldvej 3, 3520 Farum.
From Copenhagen: Drive north on the highway toward Hillerød. Take exit 10 (Farum), turn left, then right onto Frederiksborgvej. After 1.5 km, turn left onto Oldvej.
Parking:
There are parking spaces less than 100m from the clubhouse, with 8 charging stations for electric cars. Trolleys are available free of charge from both the parking area and the clubhouse. Handicap parking spaces are located directly in front of the clubhouse.
Greenfee:
The greenfee includes everything you need for a great day: golf, range balls, course guide, scorecard and tees.
Handicap Requirements:
To play on the course, players must have a maximum handicap of 26. If you play with a member, you must have a maximum of 30.
Choice of Tee:
We recommend playing from the tee that suits your handicap. If in doubt, choose the tee that gives you the same number of strokes as on your home course. At The Scandinavian, there are 5 different course lengths to choose from, and our pro shop is happy to advise you.
Access to Water and Toilets on the Course:
Old Course: Toilets are located at hole 9. Water stations are located at holes 5, 9, 10, and 14.
New Course: Toilets are located at hole 9. Water stations are located at holes 4, 7, 9, 10, and 14. These are also marked on the scorecard.
Sandwich To-Go on the Course:
You can purchase sandwiches, drinks, and snacks at The Waters to take with you on the course.
The Scandinavian Golf Etiquette:
We encourage all guests and members to respect the club´s values and follow basic etiquette:
– Respect for the facilities
– Respect for the game of golf
– Respect for each other
The Scandinavian recommends appropriate golt attire, and steel spikes are not allowed. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at The Scandinavian.

Download vores app:
Download the “How-many-strokes” app, which is available in the pro shop, on the scorecard, and at the starter house. This gives you access to the course guide, a map of the facility, and other useful information.
Training Facilities and Driving Range:
Our training facilities include a driving range with fairway bunkers and target areas. On our chipping area behind the driving range and at the four putting greens near the first tee on each course, please use your own balls.
Changing Rooms:
After your round, you are welcome to use our excellent bathroom facilities, where fresh towels, hairdryers, etc., are available. We also offer lockers for storing clothes and belongings.
Restaurant – The Waters:
At The Waters, you can relax with a drink at the bar or enjoy a lovely dish from the menu in the café after your round. No pre-booking is required for dining in the café.

We also offer Stay & Play at our guesthouse – Hedebolund:
Our exclusive guesthouse, Hedebolund, is located by hole 2 on the Old Course and offers double rooms with private bathrooms. The house features a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room with a fantastic view. The guesthouse can be rented on a daily or weekly basis. Price per room: DKK 1500 per night. Green fee for guests staying at Hedebolund: DKK 1300.

If you are unable to make your tee time, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so others can enjoy the sought-after tee times. Please contact the reception.
