Titleist Custom Fitting
Titleist began with a vision—and an X-ray. The Titleist success story started on a Sunday in 1930, when Phil Young, a dedicated amateur golfer and owner of a rubber company, missed a well-struck putt in a match against his friend, who headed the X-ray department at a local hospital.
Convinced the ball was to blame, Young and his opponent went to the hospital, X-rayed the golf ball in question, and discovered that its core was, in fact, off-centre.
Titleist club fitting begins with a unique understanding of the performance needs of golfers dedicated to playing better. Our highly qualified network of fitters works with golfers to optimise club performance and fine-tune set composition.
Why get fitted?
A Titleist fitting is much more than simply finding your specs—it’s about understanding what types of shots you want to hit and finding the right irons and clubs to help you execute them.
The goal is simple: to give every player confidence in every club in the bag—confidence that your clubs will perform as expected and deliver on every shot, so you can shoot lower scores.
What does a fitting include?
Please arrive with enough time to warm up—up to one hour beforehand.
You will be introduced to your fitter, and together you will identify your strengths, weaknesses, and the goal of your fitting.
Your fitter will use TrackMan to determine what performs best for you.
A wide selection of shafts will be available to find the ideal flex and weight to optimise distance, ball flight, dispersion, and feel.
Different clubheads will be tested to find what performs best for you, including adjustments to loft/lie and our SureFit CG settings.
